‘Nazpari’ awarded at Stuff MX film festival

Iranian short film ‘Nazpari’ has been awarded at the Stuff MX Film Festival in Mexico.

‘Nazpari’, written and directed by Mohammad Reza Mohammadi, won the Best International Short Film in the Mexican festival.

The film is about an Afghan girl who is trying to prevent her forced marriage.

The film’s cast members include Nazanin Asgari, Fatemeh Shirazi, Seyyed Hossein Hosseini, and Latifa Mosavi-Nejad.

The International Independent Film Festival of Mexico SUTFF MX showcases feature films, short fiction films, documentaries, animation, and audiovisual works.

The festival announced the winners late last week.
